Walking the Golden Gate Bridge & San Francisco – 10 miles! (8 miles + 2 miles)

When I was 10, we walked the Golden Gate Bridge on a school trip.  My memories of that trip are hazy at best, but I do remember dragging my feet along this bridge that would never end…

Oh, how my perspective has changed since!

The Golden Gate bridge is 1.7 miles long.  For the kid who would barely try during every PE class, this seemed an eternity.  Today was totally different. After logging 500+ miles over the last several months (plus the thrill of being days away from the end of the walk), we breezed across the bridge.  It was awesome.
