The Route
We will be walking from San Diego up along the coast to San Francisco then heading east through wine country to Sacramento.
The Walk is split in three (roughly 2 month) legs:
- Leg 1 (Jan-Feb): San Diego, Long Beach, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara
- Leg 2 (Mar-Apr): San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Monterey, Carmel
- Leg 3 (May-Jun): San Francisco, Sonoma, Napa, Davis, Sacramento
The Walk is all about diabetes prevention achieved through interactive workshops in middle schools. Plus, we’re running a series of races along the route!
