Jerry Hu

About me: I have worked in consulting since graduating from New York University with bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Marketing.  I grew up playing and following sports.  Growing up in San Francisco, the climate and surroundings allowed me to always be involved in some athletic activity.

What drew me to the Walk: The Walk combines three of my favorite things: problem solving, exercise, and California.  Not everyone is drawn to athletic activity or develops an appreciation of exercise.  But light needs to be shone on the positive effects exercise has on health and well-being.  The Walk approaches this challenge by setting an example and applying positive and meaningful methods to educate children on the benefits of exercise.  It’s been a great experience to see the plan hatch and develop.
